RAEME Vigil 2026
A RAEME Vigil will be held in remembrance of our fallen. All serving and ex serving members of RAEME and their families are very welcome to attend.
Timings:
1900 h Assemble in Carpark
2000 h Vigil completes
Please bring a torch.
The laying of Poppies, Rosemary or wreathes is welcome.

March Instructions
1. Prepare to March
Review the Order of March, the March Map (with form-up section markers), and the March Protocols. Share this information with your March Groups. There will be road closures on the day, so be sure to plan ahead to arrive on time.
2. Arrive and Check-In
The Primary or Secondary contact of your March group or band is responsible for registering your group on the day. Arrive and check-in at the registration desk at Allendale Square, 77 St Georges Tce from 8:00 am – 8:30 am. Road closures will be in place so it’s important to plan ahead.
3. Form-up at your Section Marker
Gather your March Group or Band and form up in order at your form-up marker by 8:45 AM. As seen in the Order of March. Follow the instructions of the March Marshalls on the day.
4. Step-off at 9:00 am sharp
The head of the March will step-off at 9:00 am sharp. Ensure that your group or band is ready to go to avoid delays and gaps in the March column. Your group will march in order from your form-up section marker to the starting point on the corner of St Georges Tce and Barrack Street.
5. Langley Park Finish
Your Group will follow the march route down St Georges Tce, then Victoria Ave, and conclude at Langley Park. Please move out of the dispersal area to avoid congestion. There will be water stations and designated parking areas for vehicles.
Plan Your Journey
If you’re making your way into the City of Perth to commemorate Anzac Day, public transport is highly encouraged. Use the Transperth Journey Planner to plan ahead for a smooth journey. There is also CPP Parking available outside the closure areas for those driving on Anzac Day.
Road Closures
Road closures will be in place on Saturday 25 April 2026 at Kings Park from 2:00 am – 9:00 am and in the Perth CBD from 5:00 am – 1:00 pm. Irwin Street will remain closed for Mateship Lane until 4:00 pm. Please do not park in the closure areas overnight, as any vehicles inside these areas will be towed.

Location: St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000
Starting from the corner of Barrack Street and St Georges Terrace and concluding at Langley Park. The Perth March will be broadcast live between 9:00 am and 10:30 am (AWST) on ABC TV and ABC iview.

Post Anzac Day March Catch-Up - 2026
All RAEME Association of WA members and families are invited to attend the after march function at the IBIS Hotel.
Please note a special license will been obtained (subject to approval) to open at 1000 h.
Cost: As per last year - Free for members (Fees can be paid on the day)
Food will be available.
